Design
  • The KSO-298 frame is a metal structure made of galvanized steel 2 mm thick. Welded metal structure parts are manufactured using high-precision equipment using cold stamping. External structural elements — doors, side panels, etc. powder coated.
  • The KSO-298 chamber consists of the following functional compartments, separated by metal partitions:
    — busbar compartment;
    — high-voltage switch compartment;
    — cable connection compartment;
    — relay protection and automation compartment;
  • The busbar compartment is located in the upper part of KSO-298 and has continuous fences with an inspection window from the facade. Busbars are sections of aluminum busbars of rectangular cross-section, located parallel to the frontal plane of the KSO cabinet. Depending on the KSO-298 type, busbars are attached directly to the disconnector terminals, or to support or bushing insulators. Busbars of adjacent cells are connected to each other using bolted connections.
  • The high-voltage compartment is located directly below the busbar compartment. The high-voltage compartment contains equipment for the main circuits (depending on the circuit number) — vacuum power switches, measuring current transformers, fuses. The compartment on the front side is closed with lining. Depending on the main circuit diagram, the following devices can be installed in the KSO-298 «INVEL» chambers:
    — vacuum switches BB/TEL-10 with a rated current of 1000 A;
    — load switches VNA, VNR, VNVR with a rated current of 630 A;
    — RVZ disconnectors for rated current 630, 1000 A;
    — ground electrodes ZR-10;
    — current transformers TLP-10;
    — voltage transformers ZNOL, ZNOLP, NAMIT;
    — auxiliary transformers TSKS-40;
    — fuses such as PKT, PKN, PNO;
    — relay protection of any manufacturer;
    — overvoltage limiters such as OPNp-6(10), OPN-RT/TEL-6(10).
  • The cable connection compartment contains equipment for the main circuits (depending on the circuit number) — disconnectors, resistive surge suppressors, etc. It also serves to connect the main circuits of neighboring cells through bushing insulators. For access to the equipment of the main current-carrying circuits, the cable compartment has a door. For easy viewing of the internal space, a lamp with an LED lamp or an LED lamp is installed on the inside of the door, and there is also an observation window on the door.
  • The relay protection and automation compartment is located in the middle front part of the cell and is designed as a compartment separated from the high-voltage equipment by a removable metal partition. On the door of the relay protection compartment there are:
    — keys and control buttons;
    — signal lamps for switch status, malfunction and protection activation;
    — microprocessor relay protection unit;
    — electrical measuring instruments;
    — metering devices.
  • KSO-298 cabinets have a grounding loop to which all housings of devices and devices that are subject to grounding are connected. The door is connected to the ground loop by a wire. There is a grounding bolt at the bottom of each cabinet for connection to an external ground loop. The grounding bolt is marked with a special marking. Grounding of busbars can be carried out in a chamber with a voltage transformer or in a separate chamber.
  • Prefabricated one-way service chambers have a service life of at least 30 years, which helps to increase the high reliability and service life of the equipment used, the quality of the design and the modern production process. The housing of complete switchgears KSO-298 is made of galvanized sheet steel by riveting and without welded joints, which ensures the absence of corrosion and the need for painting.
