BKTPB is a block-packaged transformer substation in a concrete shell with a voltage of 6, 10, 20/0.4 kV with a power from 25 kVA to 6300 kVA, used in networks with an isolated neutral on the 6, 10, 20 kV side and a solidly grounded neutral on the 0.4 side kV for power supply of industrial, housing and communal, infrastructure facilities, as well as cottage villages and individual development areas.

Feeding and outgoing lines are carried out by cable. Cable entry is carried out from the ground through a cable structure. If it is necessary to connect the BKTPB to an overhead line (OHL), a cable insert with cross-linked polyethylene insulation is used with an outlet to the overhead line support.

BKTPB is performed as a single-transformer substation (BKTPB), two-transformer substation (2BKTPB) or a distribution substation BKRPB (BKRTPB). Supplied in blocks (concrete shells with equipment) in full factory readiness

Design
  • BKTPB is a free-standing one-story module made of high-strength reinforced concrete with electrical equipment installed inside. Concrete compression class – B30 (400 kgf/cm2). The concrete grade for frost resistance is F200, water resistance W14.
  • The BKTPB module has above-ground and underground parts. The underground part of the module is a volumetric reinforced concrete pit, which is a cable structure intended for entering cable lines and laying connecting cable jumpers. The above-ground part of the module is a volumetric reinforced concrete block installed on a cable structure, designed to accommodate electrical equipment.
  • The compartments are separated from each other by metal partitions with a fire resistance limit of 1 hour. The compartments have separate entrances with metal doors and gates.
  • The shell is a monolithic reinforced concrete block of 4 walls with a floor, to which a solid cast concrete ceiling panel is rigidly attached. There are openings in the floor for access to the cable structure, for supplying and installing cables to the RUVN and RUNN.
  • The cable floor is a monolithic reinforced concrete block of 4 walls with a floor, which is buried in the ground and installed on a prepared foundation site. A sheath is installed on top of the cable floor.
